T-Mobile has confirmed that it’s now pushing Android 6.0.1 to its versions of the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+. T-Mo’s changelogs are pretty bare, listing only “Android M OS,” but we do know that that includes Google Now on Tap, Doze mode battery optimizations, improved app permissions, and more.
The Note 5 and S6 edge+ updates are now rolling out over the air. If you’d rather not wait to get your update, though, you can check for it yourself by grabbing your phone and going into Settings > About device > Software update.
Marshmallow is a big update, and it’s nice to see that T-Mobile’s Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ are now getting it. It’ll provide you Note 5 and S6 edge+ owners with some new features to play and help to start your week off right.
