Phone unboxings are nothing new, and we at PhoneDog have done quite a few of them ourselves. T-Mobile is mixing things up with some of its recent unboxings, though, by showing off new flagships in unusual scenarios. Today T-Mo is back at it with a high-flying unboxing of the HTC 10.
T-Mobile Product Manager Des Smith took to the skies of Las Vegas to unbox the HTC 10. While flying around Vegas in a helicopter, Smith shows off all of the contents of the HTC 10’s box — including a Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 wall charger — and then goes over some of its hardware and software features. The video ends with Smith in a bit of a precarious situation that we won’t ruin for you.
T-Mobile will launch the HTC 10 sometime in February for a price that hasn’t yet been announced. If you don’t mind paying full price for the HTC 10 upfront, though, you can pre-order an unlocked HTC 10 right now that’ll work nicely on T-Mo and also includes Uh-Oh Protection, which will get you a free replacement phone if you shatter your new HTC 10’s display within your first 12 months of ownership. The unlocked HTC 10 is priced at $699 and will start shipping in early May.
