Around one month ago, Google ditched the invitation system that it’d been using for Project Fi, and to celebrate, it launched a deal that’d get you a Nexus 5X for $199 when you activate it with Fi service. That deal was slated to end on April 7, but it’s now been extended.
Google has officially extended its Nexus 5X deal for another month. That means that you can get $150 off of a Nexus 5X — leaving the starting price at $199 — until May 8. To qualify, you need to get a Nexus 5X and then activate Project Fi service on it.
Good things don’t always have to come to an end. Get the #nexus5x starting at $199 for another month when you activate with Project Fi.

While it’s not quite as powerful as its 6P sibling, the Nexus 5X is still a solid device, especially if you snag one for $199. While you will need to sign up for Project Fi service to get that price, this is a great deal if you’ve ever given any thought to giving Google’s wireless service a try.
