Along with the HTC 10 leaks that’ve been dropping left and right lately, HTC has mixed in some teasers for its upcoming Android flagship. Another teaser has arrived today, with this one focusing on the HTC 10’s cameras.

HTC has taken to Twitter to tout the 10’s cameras as being “world first, world class, front and back.” The teaser also promises that we’ll see what HTC is talking about, and HTC has included its #powerof10 hashtag as well.

We’ll have to wait until HTC actually introduces us to the 10 before we know for sure what the phone’s cameras have to offer, but as I mentioned before, there have been several leaks that claim to shed some light on the HTC 10’s features. According to past rumors, the HTC 10 will have a 12-UltraPixel rear camera, which will use HTC’s UltraPixel camera technology that offers enlarged pixels that capture more light than traditional cameras. HTC used 4-UltraPixel cameras on the One M7 and M8, but switched to a more traditional 20-megapixel sensor on the One M9.

Also expected to be included with the HTC 10 are laser autofocus and optical image stabilization features for the rear camera.

HTC hasn’t announced any event for the 10 quite yet, but the rumor mill has suggested that it could launch in mid-April. Whenever the HTC 10 does arrive, it’ll be interesting to see how the 12-UltraPixel camera compares to current flagship phones like the iPhone 6s Plus, Galaxy S7, Nexus 6P, and LG G5.
