Following Samsung and LG’s new flagship smartphone announcements last month, it looks like we’ve now got a date on which we could see Huawei reveal its new high-end hardware.

Huawei has announced an event that’s taking place in London on April 6. The invitation includes the tagline “Change the way you see the world.” However, Huawei isn’t saying exactly what will be shown at the event.

The rumor mill has suggested that Huawei is prepping a new P9 flagship, and it seems likely that that’s what we’ll see at this April 6 event. Not only have leaked images of the P9 popped up lately, but the “#oo” included on the Save the Date is reminiscent of the dual rear cameras on the P9 that leaked earlier this month. 

Whatever Huawei ends up showing at its April 6 event, you can bet that we’ll keep you up to date, so stay tuned!
