Two days after Gmail for Android gained some new features, it’s Inbox’s turn to receive some goodies.

Google has announced that its improving the Snooze functionality of its Inbox by Gmail app. First up, Inbox is gaining “Later this week” and “This weekend” options for snoozing, giving you more options when it comes to deciding when you want to see an email reappear in your inbox.

The other new feature is the ability to choose which days you want to be considered as the weekend. You can choose Saturday to Sunday, Friday to Saturday, Thursday to Friday, Friday only, Saturday only, or Sunday only.

These new features should make it faster to snooze emails and make you set fewer custom snooze times. The ability to choose your weekend days is especially handy because a “weekend” can be different things to different people, depending on your religion or your schedule.

Google says that these new features will hit Inbox over the next week, so keep an eye out for ‘em.
