First Sprint pushed Android 6.0 to the LG G4, then T-Mobile, and now it’s AT&T’s turn to Marshmallow-fy its G4.
AT&T says that it’s now pushing an Android 6.0 update to its version of the LG G4. The update actually began rolling out yesterday, February 8, and is available as an over the air (OTA) download. In addition to bumping the G4 to Android 6.0, it adds AT&T Video Calling functionality.
This update bumps the AT&T LG G4 to software version H81020n and weighs in at a hefty 971MB. To download it, you’ll need to be on a Wi-Fi connection.
We’ve known that the LG G4 would be getting an update to Android 6.0 for a while, so for folks in the US, it’s just a question of when your carrier gets around to pushing the Marshmallow update out to its customers. That time has come for AT&T customers, so if you’ve got a G4 with AT&T’s globe tattooed on its body, be sure to keep an eye out for your serving of Android 6.0 in the coming days.
