A couple of months after the OnePlus 2 became available without an invitation, the self-proclaimed “flagship killer” has received a permanent price cut.
The OnePlus 2 is now $349, a full $40 off its previous price. That price cut applies outside of the US, too, so folks in the UK can get one for £249 and OnePlus 2 buyers in other European countries will pay €345. The good news is that OnePlus is extending this deal to anyone that’s bought the OnePlus 2 within the last 15, so if that’s you, you’ll be receiving a refund of $40 (or its equivalent in your currency) soon.
While the OnePlus 2 isn’t the freshest Android phone on the block, its spec list is still respectable, offering features like a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display, octa-core Snapdragon 810, and 4GB of RAM. At $349, the OnePlus 2 is now much more competitive in the “affordable flagship” market that’s chock full of serious contenders, including the Moto X Pure Edition and Nexus 5X.
To celebrate Valentine’s Day, OnePlus is also offering a free StyleSwap Cover or OnePlus X Case to folks that buy a OnePlus phone. OnePlus is still offering free standard shipping on orders of $100 or more, too.
