As we inch closer to MWC 2016 and the expected debut of Samsung’s new lineup of flagship Android phones, there’s a lot of speculation about what the new Galaxy S7 family will look like. According to a new leak, it’ll be similar to the 2015 lineup.
Evan Blass, aka @evleaks, has shared an image that suggests that Samsung is prepping a standard Galaxy S7, a Galaxy S7 edge, and a Galaxy S7 edge+. No other information about the devices is included in the image, which appears to be taken from some promotional material.
Honestly surprised by this (though it does explain a lot). pic.twitter.com/B7fL41qShm

While today’s leak doesn’t include any spec details for Samsung’s new flagships, another recent leak did. According to that report, the Galaxy S7 will have a 5.1-inch and the Galaxy S7 edge will have a 5.5-inch screen, both at a resolution of 2560x1440. If Samsung is prepping both a Galaxy S7 edge and a GS7 edge+, though, it’d be kind of strange to see a 5.5-inch GS7 edge and then a larger GS7 edge+. Perhaps the standard GS7 edge will have a 5.1-inch display like the GS6 edge, while the GS7 edge+ will have the 5.5-inch screen? We’ll just have to wait and see.
Other rumored Galaxy S7 specs include either an octa-core Exynos 8 Octa 8890 or octa-core Snapdragon 820 processor (depending on market), 12-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, 4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of storage, a microSD slot (which the GS6 lacked), a 3000mAh battery, and a body that’s dust and water resistant. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S7 edge will reportedly have the same specs but a bigger 3600mAh battery. It’s also rumored that the Galaxy S7 might include a pressure-sensitive display and USB Type-C.
If the Galaxy S7 rumors come true, will you consider buying Samsung’s new flagship Android smartphone?
