After launching exclusively in Japan last year, the Matte Gold Nexus 6P is finally making its way stateside.
Huawei says that starting today, January 5, the Matte Gold Nexus 6P is available from the Google Store, BestBuy.com, and select Best Buy retail stores. It’s available in 32GB and 64GB models, with pricing set at $499 and $549, respectively.
Specs for the Matte Gold Nexus 6P are the same as the other colors that’ve been available in the US since 2015. That means that it’s packing a 5.7-inch 2560x1440 AMOLED display, octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 12.3-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front cameras, and a 3450mAh battery. It’s great to see Huawei and Google finally bring the Matte Gold model to the US, though, especially since gold hardware is a pretty big trend in mobile right now.
Huawei today also introduced two new models of the Huawei Watch. The Android Wear smartwatch will soon be available in Elegant and Jewel, which feature the same basic design as the other Huawei Watch models, but have their own special touches. The Elegant version has a textured top ring with a rose gold body, while the Jewel features 68 Swarovski crystals around its face. Both models will also come with some exclusive watch faces.
The Elegant and Jewel version of the Huawei Watch will be available in the US in Q1 2016.
