After announced its new Galaxy A3, A5, and A7 earlier this month, Samsung today expanded the Galaxy A family with the A9.

The highlight feature of the Galaxy A9 is its display, which measures 6 inches in size, making it larger than the A5’s 5.2-inch display and the A7’s 5.5-inch screen. The Galaxy A9’s 6-inch Super AMOLED display has the same 1920x1080 resolution as the A5 and A7, though.

Also include in the Galaxy A9 is an octa-core Snapdragon 652 (formerly Snapdragon 620), 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a microSD slot, 13-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front cameras, and a 4000mAh battery. Like the Galaxy A5 and A7, the Galaxy A9 also includes support for Samsung Pay. All of those goodies are packed into a body that’s reminiscent of the Galaxy S6.

There’s no word yet on when the Android 5.1-powered Galaxy A9 might launch in China or how much it’ll cost when it does.

With the Galaxy A9, Samsung’s Galaxy A family of phones offers screen sizes ranging from 4.7 to 6 inches. Samsung has long been about offering customers choices, and the Galaxy A family continues that effort. The Galaxy A9 specifically may not be a super high-end phone, but it does offer a big screen along with some other decent specs that ought to handle most of your daily tasks without issue. While we don’t yet know how much it’ll cost, the Galaxy A9 could be a decent phablet option that’s more affordable that flagship devices like the Galaxy Note 5.
