We’ve seen a lot of solid deals on Android smartphones lately, including $50 off the new Nexus phones and $100 off Samsung’s 2015 flagships. If Motorola is more your thing, Amazon’s now got you covered.
Today’s Deal of the Day at Amazon is offering $100 off the Moto X Pure Edition. The deal is only available on the 32GB version of the device, but you do have the option of buying the Moto X in black, white, or white with a bamboo back. Do keep in mind, though, that adding the bamboo backside will increase the phone’s price to $374.99.
The Moto X Pure Edition being sold by Amazon is the same model that you get from Motorola. That means that it’s factory unlocked and ready for use on any carrier. The one downside, of course, is that buying through Amazon means you can’t totally customize your Moto X with Moto Maker. That said, folks that want a unique phone aren’t totally out of luck since there is the bamboo-backed model available from Amazon.
The Pure Edition continues the Moto X family’s tradition of offering solid hardware for an affordable price. Our own Marco Hanna said that the Moto X Pure Edition could be the best Android device for less than $400, and today you can get it for even less than Motorola normally asks. Just keep in mind that Amazon’s Deal of the Day only lasts for one day. As of this writing, you’ve got 16 hours and 40 minutes to decide if you want to pull the trigger on a discounted Moto X Pure Edition.
