Yesterday Apple released the first iOS 9.2.1 beta to registered developers, but there was no update for Apple Beta Software Program testers. Those folks didn’t have to wait long, though, because the update is now rolling out to public beta testers, too.
If you’re a part of the Apple Beta Software Program, you can now download iOS 9.2.1 beta 1 over the air. Simply head into Settings > General > Software Update, and the update should become available to download.
It’s unclear exactly what’s included in iOS 9.2.1, but because this is an x.x.1 update, it seems likely that it’s focused on improving performance and squashing bugs. That may not sound super exciting, but getting updates that improve the performance of your smartphone is always nice, so this iOS 9.2.1 is worth looking forward to.
