With the year starting to wind down, that means that it’s time for the Galaxy S flagship rumor mill to start heating up. And start heating up it has.
According to well-known leaker Evan Blass, AT&T is currently testing two Galaxy S7 variants with the model numbers SM-G930A and SM-G935A. The news that testing for Samsung’s next flagship smartphones are underway supports rumors that they could be made official in early or mid Q1 2016, Blass says.
AT&T already testing both Galaxy S7 variants (SM-G930A and -G935A), adding weight to rumors of an early- to mid-1Q16 release.

The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge on AT&T feature the model numbers SM-G920A and SM-G925A, respectively, so it’s possible that AT&T is currently testing some Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge devices. As for Samsung’s possible announcement timing, the company revealed the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge at MWC last year, and so we could see the Galaxy S7 announced at the 2016 edition of MWC, which is taking place from February 22 through February 24. I’d say that that’s around the middle of Q1 2016.
What do you hope to see from the Samsung Galaxy S7?
