Apple’s not typically one to offer any kind of discounts on its products, save for some meager sales on Black Friday and the back-to-school season. If you live in one of a handful specific US cities, though, you can take advantage of a rare Apple deal right now.
Apple has confirmed that it’s currently offering a limited time deal in select Apple Stores that’ll knock $50 off the Apple Watch or Apple Watch Sport when purchased with an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus. The promotion is available in participating Apple Stores in California in the Burlingame, Chestnut Street, Corte Madera, Hillsdale, San Francisco, and Stonestown stores, as well as the Boylston Street, Burlington, CambridgeSide, and Chestnut Hill stores in the Boston, Mass., area.
This promo will run from October 30 through November 15, and to qualify, you’ll need to purchase both devices in a single transaction. Again, the promo is only available in select Apple Stores, so you won’t be able to take advantage online.
While $50 off the purchase of an Apple Watch and iPhone may not seem like much, it’s certainly better than nothing. And again, this promo is notable because Apple almost never discounts its own products. The company hasn’t revealed how many Apple Watch units that it’s sold, but this deal could be an attempt at giving sales of the Apple Watch a small boost. There’s no word on whether or not this sale will be extending to more stores, but if consumers respond well, it certainly could be offered in more locations.
