Sprint today announced a new Starter Unlimited Data Plan that starts at $20 per month. In exchange for your one Hamilton, you’ll get 1GB of high-speed data, followed by unlimited 2G data. If you’d like more high-speed data, you’ll be able to buy more at a rate of $15 per gigabyte. Unlimited talk and text costs another $20, bringing the total to $40 per month.
Th Starter Unlimited Data Plan also includes Sprint Global Roaming, which offers free texting and 2G data in select countries. Talk is available at a rate of 20 cents per minute.
Sprint is making a similar change to its Family Share Pack. That plan includes 10GB of data to share across 4 lines, but after today, those lines will also get unlimited 2G data once their 10GB allotment runs out. And as with the Starter Unlimited Data Plan, customers on the Family Share Pack will be able to buy more data at a rate of $15 per GB.
Finally, Sprint’s Unlimited High-Speed Data Plan includes bottomless high-speed data, just as its name implies. Also included is 3GB of mobile hotspot usage, unlimited talk and text, and Sprint Global Roaming, all for a price of $70 per month. If you’d like to add more lines, you can do so at a rate of $60 apiece.
These new plans will be available starting October 30.
