BlackBerry has steadily bene trickling out information about the Priv since confirming the device last week. First it was an official announcement, then CEO John Chen briefly showed the device on video, and now we’re getting some official images.
Some high-quality images of the BlackBerry Priv are now live on the Inside BlackBerry blog. The first couple show off the side of the phone, both with its slider closed and extended, and we can see that the Priv's rear camera juts out from its body a bit. We also get a look at the Priv's side-mounted volume buttons and convenience key. There’s also an image of the Priv at an angle that gives us a peek at its physical keyboard.
While the images don’t really show anything that we haven’t seen in previous leaks, it is nice to get some official images of BlackBerry’s upcoming Android phone. Here’s to hoping that some of the next announcements that BlackBerry makes about the Priv are about the device’s specs and its launch date.
