Just as expected, Amazon is now discounting its Prime membership. New members can sign up for a year of Amazon Prime for $67, which is quite a bit less than Prime’s typical $99 per year asking price. This discounted price will be available today only through 11:59 pm PT / 2:59 am ET.
Amazon rarely discounts Prime memberships, so if you’re not yet a member of Amazon Prime, this is a deal worth considering. In addition to free two-day shipping, Amazon Prime will get you unlimited photo storage, Amazon Instant Video and its “thousands” of movies and TV shows available for streaming, as well as Amazon Prime Music and its catalog of “over a million” songs.
Unfortunately, it looks like today’s deal is only available to folks that aren’t already enrolled in Prime, so existing members can’t use it as a cheap way to extend their Prime membership. If you’re not already a Prime user, you can sign up for the deal at the link below.
