HTC has been a big proponent of adding its custom Android apps to Google Play for easy updating, and today the company did it again.
HTC Service - HTC PNS is the latest HTC app for Android that’s arrived on the Play Store. HTC’s description for the app is simple: “The HTC Push Client service supports notifications for HTC apps and services.” Here’s the list of changes found in the latest version of the app:
As you might expect, this HTC PNS app is only compatible with HTC-made devices, and it also requires Android 5.0. Its arrival in Google Play means that HTC can now easily update the app without having to push a full software update to devices.
