Lots of folks have been wondering what kind of specs HTC will pack into the oft-rumored One A9, aka “Hima” or “Aero,” especially after alleged images of the device recently surfaced. Today we’re finally getting some details on what might be inside the device.
Well-known leaker Evan Blass today spilled some of the spec alleged spec information on the HTC One A9. According to Blass, HTC’s new phone will have a 5-inch 1920x1080 AMOLED display, 13-megapixel rear and 4-megapixel UltraPixel front cameras, and a fingerprint reader. Inside of its metal body — which is expected to be around 7mm thick and come in 6 colors — will reportedly be a Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a microSD slot, and a 2150mAh battery.
HTC One A9 (Hima Aero): SD617, 5" FHD AMOLED, 2GB/16GB, 13MP/4UP OIS BSI, 2150mAh, microSD, fingerprint, metal, ~7mm, 6 colors. November.

The HTC One A9 is expected to launch in early November. If today’s leak holds true, it looks like the A9 will be a sort of mid-range One M9, offering a similar display — though it’s allegedly AMOLED and not LCD like on the One M9 — but a step down for its processor, rear camera, and RAM. This leak may be a bit of a bummer hoping that the One A9 would be a new flagship phone, but if a recent image leak is to be believed, the A9 might have an interesting new design for us to check out.
