If you’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of HTC’s upcoming One A9 “Aero,” today I’ve got some news that ought to get you a bit more excited for the upcoming device.
LlabTooFeR, a frequent source of HTC leaks, says that the One A9 “Aero” will run Android 6.0 when it launches. Of course, it’ll also have HTC’s custom Sense user interface on top of Marshmallow, which is expected to be Sense 7.0. As for when it’ll launch, the One A9 “Aero” will reportedly arrive in October or November.

We’ve yet to see any solid spec leaks for HTC’s One A9, but an image leak from last month suggested that the device will have a screen with 2.5D curved glass edges. The news that the One A9 “Aero” will likely come with Android 6.0 in tow is big, though, because it means that folks that buy the One A9 at launch will likely have Marshmallow before most other Android users.
