Remember when Motorola introduced three new Moto phones about a month ago? Well, it turns out that the Moto family may not be done growing in 2015.
@upleaks recently shared images of a device called the “Moto X Force,” also known by the codename Motorola Bounce. The device is a bit reminiscent of the Moto X Play, but its front is changed up a bit, having differently placed sensors.
The Moto X Force and Moto X Play are even more different when it comes to their specs. While the Moto X Play has a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display, the Moto X Force is said to have a 5.43-inch 2560x1440 screen. Another difference is in the processor: Moto X Play has a Snapdragon 615, while the Moto X Force may have a Snapdragon 810.
Also said to be included with the Moto X Force are 21-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, 32/64GB of storage, 3GB of RAM, and a 3760mAh battery. Interestingly, the Moto X Force reportedly includes a shatterproof screen, too.
The Moto X Force is reportedly going to launch in December. There aren’t any details on where it might launch, but it’s possible that it could land on Verizon as the DROID Turbo 2. The big red carrier is expected to launch two new DROID phones this year, and the Moto X Play is likely going to become to DROID Maxx 2. That leaves the DROID Turbo 2, which a previous rumor claimed will include an “unbreakable” display, much like the shatterproof screen that’s rumored to be included with the Moto X Force.
