About a week after LG introduced the G Pad II 10.1, AT&T has announced a cellular version of the Android tablet.
The LG G Pad X 10.1 will launch at AT&T’s online store on September 4, with an in-store launch scheduled for one week later on September 11. Pricing will be set at $17.50 per month for 20 months on a Tablet Installment Plan or $249.99 with a two-year contract.
In terms of specs, the LG G Pad X 10.1 is largely similar to the G Pad II 10.1. It’s got a 10.1-inch display, 2.26GHz quad-core processor, 32GB of storage, a microSD slot, 2GB of RAM, and Android 5.1.1, all packed into a body that’s covered in a color called Brilliant Bronze. Powering the package is a beefy 7400mAh.
The software will include several LG tweaks, like Dual Window for split-screen multi-tasking and Q Pair, which will let you use your tablet to answer calls and reply to texts that are sent to your phone. AT&T is also including the DirecTV Anywhere app that’ll let you watch live TV, set your DVR, and control your TV
