We frequently see the Amazon Fire phone have its price briefly reduced by Amazon, with one recent sale cutting the device’s price all the way down to $159. If you don’t mind buying from another seller, though, you can now get a Fire phone for even less.
eBay seller qualitycellz is now offering the Amazon Fire phone at a starting price of $139.99. That’ll get you the 32GB version of the phone that, while locked to AT&T, does come with an unlock code. Also included is the one year of Amazon Prime (worth $99) that you’d get if you bought the Fire phone from Amazon. If you’d prefer a bit more internal storage, you can get the 64GB Fire phone for $159.99 from the same seller.
The Amazon Fire phone never really managed to set the world ablaze with its custom Fire OS and unique features like Dynamic Perspective and Firefly identification software. Amazon is still supporting the Fire phone with updates, though, and the company even recently launched a Fire OS 5 Developer Preview that’s based on Lollipop. If you’re into tinkering, there’s also the option of loading CyanogenMod 11 onto the Fire phone.
