Five days ago, OnePlus officially opened the reservation list for OnePlus 2 invites, two days before the phone was actually revealed. At the time that I signed up, the list was at around 20,000. So where’s it at now that the OnePlus 2 is official and has had a few days to sink in?
As of this writing, the OnePlus 2 reservation waiting list is at 1,006,248. The reservation list is a way for folks to put their name in for an invitation to buy the OnePlus 2 when more invitation become available, like if one gets unused by another recipient.
While it’s unlikely that all 1,006,248 people on the OnePlus 2 reservation list will actually buy a unit, OnePlus still has to be pretty pleased with the interest that’s being shown in its new flagship smartphone.
The OnePlus 2 will officially launch on August 11 at a price of $329 for the 3GB/16GB model and $389 for the 4GB/64GB version. Have you put your name on the OnePlus 2 reservation list? Which unit will you select once you do get a OnePlus 2 invite?
