One of the biggest features of the OnePlus One is its price, offering higher-end specs for a price that’s half that of other high-end phones. There’s been a lot of speculation about what the OnePlus 2 might cost, especially with the news that it’ll include a Snapdragon 810, and today OnePlus took to Twitter to quell concerns that its next phone will be pricey.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau says that the OnePlus 2 will cost “under 450 USD.” OnePlus previously said that the OnePlus 2 will cost more than $322, so now we’ve got a window of $322 and $450 in which OnePlus’s next flagship Android phone will cost.

So far we know that the OnePlus 2 will have a Snapdragon 810 processor — one that OnePlus promises won’t overheat — as well as a USB Type-C cable and a fingerprint sensor. The device is going to be unveiled on July 27, but expect more spec details to be revealed in the next couple of weeks, because that’s how OnePlus rolls.
So now that we know that the OnePlus 2 will be less than $450, does that make you interested in buying one?
