Last year Samsung introduced us to its Level family of mobile audio accessories that include headphones and Bluetooth speakers. Today that family is growing with the addition of some new wireless headphones.
The Samsung Level U wireless headphones connect over Bluetooth to deliver wireless audio, and because they’ve also got dual microphones, you can use them to conduct phone calls as well. The Level U includes 12mm speaker units that Samsung says offer “high-quality, clear sound.”
The design of the Level U headphones mean that you wear them behind your neck. Samsung has included a flexible neck band to make Level U comfortable on the back of your neck, and there are soft ear grips to help the buds stay in your ears.
When it comes to battery life, Samsung says that Level U is good for 11 hours of talk time or up to 10 hours of “usage time.”
The Level U headphones are available from Samsung’s online store starting today, July 1, in the US. They’re available in Black Sapphire and White and will set you back $69.99. Included in the package are three sets of ear gels, a microUSB charging cable, and rubber bands. The Level U headphones also include an in-line remote for changing tracks and play/pause.
