Just as expected, iOS 8.4 and Apple Music are now rolling out.

iOS 8.4 is available for download, and it brings with it Apple Music, the Cupertino firm’s new music streaming service. It offers more than 30 million tracks for streaming, including Taylor Swift’s 1989 and Dr. Dre’s The Chronic, as well as a new Beats 1 radio station hosted by popular DJ Zane Lowe.

In addition to its streaming catalog and Beats 1 radio, Apple Music offers a For You tab that aims to suggest music that it thinks you’ll like. And because Apple Music lives inside of the regular iOS Music app, all of your purchased music is available in the app as well.

Finally, Apple Music features Connect, a service that’ll let you connect with musicians. The artists can share photos, music, videos, and more, and then you can comment and share the content, sort of like a new social network. Let’s hope it fares better than Ping.

Apple Music includes a three-month free trial, after which it’ll cost $9.99 per month. There will also be a family subscription for $14.99 per month that’ll let up to six people use Apple Music thanks to Family Sharing.

Apple Music is launching today on iOS, Mac, and PC, and it’ll arrive on Android and Apple TV this fall.

To check for iOS 8.4, grab your iOS device and head into Settings > General > Software Update. You may want to update as soon as possible, because the first Beats 1 radio broadcast is expected to go live in an hour.
