Take note, Sprint customers, because a new rumor claims that a new HTC One phone is coming your way.

Well-known leakster Evan Blass recently said that a device codenamed “HTC Aero” is coming to Sprint in early November. The device will reportedly be a member of HTC’s One family of products, but it’s expected to be an “intermediate” piece of hardware, so don’t expect a One M9+ or E9+-level of specs.

There’s still a lot to be revealed regarding this HTC Aero phone, but the claim that it’s going to be an intermediate phone is sure to turn extinguish the excitement that some folks may have gotten when they first heard about the Aero. It could still end up being a nice mid-range phone for people that want a more affordable product, though, so you can bet that we’re going to keep an eye out for more on this one.
