One day after Motorola announced a promo that cut the Moto X (2nd Gen.)’s price down to $299 off-contract, Republic Wireless has revealed a similar deal for its version of the X.
Republic Wireless is now selling its version of the 16GB Moto X (2nd Gen.) for $299.99 without a contract. Both the black and white versions are available for that price. If you’d prefer something a bit more customized, you can personalize a Moto X using Moto Maker and get it for $299 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
Because of Republic’s unique service that relies primarily on Wi-Fi for texting and calls but also uses Sprint’s network for cellular connectivity, the selection of phones available to Republic customers is a bit slim. The Moto X is the top-end option, and so now Republic customers can get the most high-end phone available to them for $100 off its normal price, which is a nice chunk of change.
Have any of you taken advantage of these recent Moto X sales?
