Quick, grab your Nexus 6. If it’s got an AT&T globe tattoo on its lower back, then I’ve got some news for you.
AT&T says that its version of the Nexus 6 is now receiving its Android 5.1.1 update. The update is a small one, weighing in at just 81MB, and its changelog is similarly small. According to AT&T, the update adds stability improvements and disables the phone’s Smart Lock when EAS password policy is enforced.
As for the rollout process, AT&T says that Google started by pushing the update to 1 percent of eligible users and then ramped that up from there. The update should be available to all AT&T Nexus 6 units by the end of the first week, which will happen on June 18. So if you haven’t yet gotten Android 5.1.1 on your AT&T N6, it should arrive in the next couple of days.
