Google caught our attention earlier this week by cutting the cost of the Nexus 6 by $150, an all-time low price for that phone. But what if the N6 is just a bit too large for you? Best Buy’s got you covered.
Best Buy is now selling the 16GB Moto X (2nd Gen.) for AT&T and Verizon for $299.99 without a commitment. To compare, Motorola is asking $499.99 for those models in its online store. It’s worth noting, though, that Best Buy appears to only have the black version of the Moto X on sale. But if you do decide to pull the trigger on a discounted Moto X, you can get it today using Best Buy’s store pickup option.
While the Moto X (2nd Gen.) isn’t the freshest Android handset around, it’s still a respectable device that gets fairly speedy Android OS updates. And at $300 without a commitment, it could be worth a look for AT&T and Verizon customers that want a Nexus 6-like product in a smaller and more affordable package.
In addition to offering discounted Moto Xs, Best Buy is handing out $50 gift cards with the purchase of a gray or silver HTC One M9 on AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon.
Both the Moto X and HTC One M9 deals are expected to run through Saturday.
