We already know that T-Mobile will hold a Galaxy S6 promo this weekend that’ll let you get a 64GB model for the price of a 32GB version, or get a gift card if you want the 32GB phone. But what if you recently bought one of those phones? T-Mo might have you covered too.
Our pals at TmoNews have gotten hold of an internal memo that shows that T-Mobile will extend its promo to customers that bought a GS6 and are in the buyer’s remorse period, which lasts for 14 days after you purchased your phone. According to the leaked memo, if you bought a 64GB GS6 or GS6 edge before May 23 and you’re in your buyer’s remorse period, you can go to the same place that you bought the device and get an $80 credit. If you bought a 32GB phone, you’ll be able to exchange it for a 64GB version for no extra charge.
While T-Mobile hasn’t made any official announcements regarding this policy, it wouldn’t surprise me to learn that it’s legit. If you’re already within your buyer’s remorse period, you could simply return your device and buy a new one to take advantage of T-Mo’s promo, so why wouldn’t T-Mo make things easier on everyone by extending its promo to those customers.
This T-Mobile Galaxy S6 double memory promo will run from May 23 through May 25. If you’ve already got a GS6 and you want to try to take advantage of the deal while you’re in the buyer’s remorse period, it’s probably a good idea to call up the store where you got your phone or customer care if you bought your phone online and see if they’ll help you out.
