If you use the Google to search the web on your mobile device, you’re going to start seeing some new content included in your results.
Google says that it’s injecting tweets into Google searches on mobile starting today. This includes searches performed using the Google app or any browser on your phone or tablet. When you search for something, you’ll be presented with the regular results as well as some tweets about the subject that you’re interested in.
These tweet-filled searches are appearing starting today in the Google apps for both Android and iOS as well as mobile browsers. They’re currently only working in English, but Google says that it’s working to add more languages and support for the desktop in the future.
Twitter is the way that a lot of folks get news nowadays, and it’s also the method that a lot of people use to share their opinions on topics that they care about. As a result, injecting tweets into search results can help Google users get information that they might not receive while looking through the regular search results.
