Now that the Galaxy S6 is here, the rumor mill is turning its focus to the next flagship from Samsung, the Galaxy Note 5.
A new report from SamMobile claims that Samsung’s internal codename for the Galaxy Note 5 is “Project Noble.” The leak also claims to have model numbers for several variants of the Note 5, starting with SM-N920F for the European model. There’s also SM-N920S and SM-N920K for Korea and SM-N920A and SM-N920 for AT&T and Verizon in the U.S.
The Galaxy Note phones have been big hits for Samsung in the past, and so it’s no surprise that another model is in the works for 2015. What makes today’s leak interesting is that now that we may have the model number and codename, we might be able to dig up more information about the Note 5 in the future.
Meanwhile, another device codenamed “Project Zen” has leaked. This one’s got the model number SM-G928, with carrier variants including SM-G928A for AT&T and SM-G928V for Verizon. This product’s identity is a mystery, but because the Galaxy S6 has a model number of SM-G920 and the Galaxy S6 edge is SM-G925, it’s thought that the SM-G928 could be some sort of GS6 variant.
