After launching unlimited calling and texting to Mexico a couple of months ago, Cricket today announced that it’s doing the same for another country.

Starting today, Cricket customers on the operator’s $50 and $60 rate plans will get free unlimited calling and text to Canada. That includes landline and mobile-to-mobile calls as well as text, video, and photo messages. If you're an existing Cricket customer on the $50 or $60 plan, the Canadian texting and calling will automatically be added to your plan.

Cricket also points out that it’s got a couple of limited time promos currently running. Customers that port their number to Cricket from T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Sprint, Boost Mobile, and other services can get a free month of service after completing two months of service. Additionally, those switchers can get an HTC Desire 510 for $9.99. Both promos will run through April 30.
