If you’re running the Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones, you might want to fire up your “phone update” functionality, because a new build is now rolling out.
Microsoft says that it’s now pushing Build 10052 of the Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones. The update is going out to users in the Fast ring and is meant to address issues that have cropped up in the 10051 build that was released earlier this month. Here’s what this new build fixes:
This may not be a super exciting update for some folks, but for those affected by these issues, I’m sure that it’s welcome. If you’re the running Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones, you can check for this update by going into Settings > Update & recovery > Phone update. I just did it and successfully pulled the update, so you should be able to grab it.
Microsoft also says that it’s fixed the issue that prevented Lumia 520 users from rolling from the Windows 10 Technical Preview back to Windows Phone 8.1 using the Windows Phone Reset Tool. As a result, Microsoft paused the Windows 10 Technical Preview for the Lumia 520. Microsoft has now fixed the issue with the Windows Phone Reset Tool, and so it’s making the Windows 10 Technical Preview available again too.
