Now that the HTC One M9 has arrived, it’s time for retailers to begin heaving large discounts on the HTC One M8 to clear out any stock that they’ve got left. And heave eBay has.
An eBay seller is currently offering the HTC One M8 for just $269.99 without a contract. The model that’s being sold is the AT&T version, but it is unlocked, so you could use it on some other GSM carriers. This version has 850/1900/2100MHz 3G and 700/850/AWS/1800/1900/2600MHz LTE support, which means you could use this model on T-Mobile in the U.S., though you’re only going to get 3G if you live in an area with refarmed 1900MHz HSPA coverage.
The One M8 may be HTC’s last-gen flagship, but it’s still a perfectly respectable Android smartphone, offering a 5-inch 1920x1080 display, quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, microSD card slot, and front-facing BoomSound speakers. As of this writing, only the Gunmetal Gray version is available for purchase, but at $270 unlocked, it’s tough to get too upset about only having one color option.
