Android audio latency may not sound like a super-exciting topic to most of us, but if you visit the Google’s Android page dedicated to that topic, you’ll find a some tidbits of info that are interesting.
A couple of references to Android 5.1.1 have been discovered on Google’s Android Audio Latency page. An unannounced Android 5.1.1 update is listed for both the Nexus 7 (2013) and Nexus 9, with the build number of the former being LMY47W and the latter being LMY47S.
Exactly what’s included in the Android 5.1.1 update remains to be seen, but the appearance of the update on an official Google website is exciting news for Nexus owners. That’s especially true of the Nexus 9, which is still stuck on Android 5.0, despite the fact that Android 5.1 was announced more than one month ago and has already hit most other Nexus and Google Play edition devices.
Are there any specific bug fixes or tweaks you’d like to see from Android 5.1.1?
