Android 5.0 Lollipop Highlights
If you’re an AT&T Galaxy S5 owner that’s a bit frustrated about the Galaxy S4 getting Lollipop yesterday while you’re still without your own update, don’t fret, because your update is coming too.
AT&T’s official @ATTCares Twitter account says that the Android 5.0 update for AT&T’s Galaxy S5 will be released today, April 8. AT&T hasn’t yet updated its support page for the Galaxy S5 yet, so there currently aren’t any details about the update available.
Because the Galaxy S4 is a year older than the Galaxy S5, I’m sure that there were more than a few AT&T S5 owners that were peeved about the S4 getting Android 5.0 yesterday. AT&T is apparently on an update spree, though, which means that you S5 folk aren’t going to be Lollipop-less for much longer. Once we get more details on the AT&T S5’s update to Android 5.0, we’ll be sure to share ‘em with you.
