When HTC began taking pre-orders for the One M9 last week, it said that units would begin shipping out the following week. Unfortunately, that turned out to not be the case for some buyers.
HTC is sending out emails telling some One M9 buyers that their shipment has been affected negatively and that it won’t arrive this week. Instead, HTC is telling many of the affected people that their unit will arrive between April 4 and 7. HTC is making up for the delay, though, offering a 25 percent discount on first-party One M9 accessories to anyone that’s had their One M9 shipment delayed.
The HTC One M9 is going to end up being one of the biggest smartphones of the year, and so I’m sure that anyone that buys one would like to get it in their hands as soon as possible. Unfortunately, shipping issues are impossible to predict, and they’ve cropped up with the One M9. Good guy HTC is making it up by offering discounted cases and other goodies for the One M9, though, so it’s not all bad for One M9 buyers.
