If you’ve been waiting for some HTC One M9 news regarding U.S. availability, it looks like your wait may soon be over.

HTC America President Jason Mackenzie today took to Twitter to tease that his company’s got a “BIG announcement” coming on Wednesday, March 18. Mackenzie added the hashtag “#HTCOneM9” to his tweet, suggesting that HTC’s latest flagship will be the subject of Wednesday’s news.

We’ll have to wait until Wednesday before we know exactly what HTC’s got up its sleeve, but it seems likely that we’ll finally get some information related to the One M9’s U.S. release. And since carriers like to be the ones to announce their launch plans for new flagship phones, it’s possible that HTC will reveal plans to sell unlocked and developer versions of the One M9 like it’s done with the One M7 and One M8.
