Google Flights is integrating data from Routehappy that will display amenities like Wi-Fi, in-seat power, and seat type. Routehappy gathers this information on a regular basis using multiple sources. The company also has a system called Flightmatch that matches and scores Happiness Factors, duration, and ratings for different flight combinations.
When you’re hunting for a flight, things like Wi-Fi and seat type are some of the most important factors in actually deciding which plane to get onboard with. That information’s not always easy to find, but Google Flights is aiming to change that by offering up all of that important information and making it easy to spot.
