ZTE today took the wraps off of the Blade S6, the newest member of its “premium Blade series” of smartphones.
The ZTE Blade S6 got its name from the six features that it has that are meant to provide a “world-class user experience.” Those include ZTE’s Smart Sense gesture motion control, an octa-core processor, Android 5.0, an “SLR-like” camera, quality sound, ZTE’s custom user interface, and ZTE’s AliveShare app.
ZTE Smart Sense offers gestures and motion controls to let you quickly activate features and apps. For example, you can flick your wrist to activate the Blade S6’s flashlight. Smart Sense can also help you to take burst photos, play music, and more.
Along with Android 5.0, the Blade S6 comes with ZTE’s MiFavor 3.0 user interface with personalization tools, Hi-Fi sound capabilities, and In-Cell screen technology for more vibrant images. In terms of raw specs, here’s what the ZTE Blade S6 has to offer:
The ZTE Blade S6 will be available globally from AliExpress and through Amazon and eBay in select markets. Pricing will be set at $249.99, which seems like a pretty reasonable price for phone with a 5-inch 1080p screen, octa-core processor, and 13-megapixel rear camera.
