After previously pushing Android 5.0 to the Google Play edition, unlocked, and developer versions of the One (M8), HTC is now getting down to updating its more consumer-flavored versions of its current flagship.
Jeff Gordon, HTC’s Senior Global Online Communications Manager, announced today that the European version of the HTC One (M8) is getting Lollipop starting today. As with most updates, this one is rolling out in waves, so it may take some time before it reaches your particular European One (M8).
The Android 5.0 update for the HTC One (M8) brings with it a number of changes, including Lollipop tweaks like new lock screen alerts and notifications. Also included are an updated Recent Apps display and the ability to search within the Settings app.
If you’ve got a European-flavored HTC One (M8), jump into your Settings app and check to see if you’ve got an update waiting for you!
