After a false start last week, it looks like AT&T is finally pushing Android 4.4.4 out to its version of the HTC One (M8).
AT&T’s HTC One (M8) support page once again lists information for the device’s new update, but this time it’s got a new rollout date of January 26, aka today. PhoneDog reader Marc is already receiving the beefy 864MB update, as evidenced by the screenshots you see below.
According to AT&T, this One (M8) update brings Android 4.4.4, HD Voice, improved battery performance, updated Visual Voicemail and a few other small tweaks. HTC exec Mo Versi says that the update also brings the HTC Eye Experience, a set of camera features that includes things like Split Capture, Crop-Me-In, and Voice Selfie.
Overall this looks like a pretty spiffy update if you’ve got an HTC One (M8) with an AT&T tattoo on its backside. You can check for it manually by heading into Settings > AT&T Software update > Check for updates. Be sure to let us know when the update hits your device!
