Mark your calendars, mobile fans, because March 1 looks like it’s going to be a big day.
HTC is sending out invitations to a “utopia in progress” event that’s scheduled for March 1 at MWC in Barcelona, Spain. The invite teases that HTC will show “what’s next,” but doesn’t offer any other hints as to what HTC’s got planned.
We’ll have to wait until March 1 rolls around before we know exactly what HTC’s “utopia in progress” event will be about, but there’s a chance that it could bring HTC’s next flagship Android phone. The original HTC made its debut in mid-February and the One (M8) came to us at the end of March, and so HTC could be going in-between those two dates in 2015 and giving us its new flagship at MWC.
HTC’s next flagship Android phone, often called the HTC One M9 or HTC Hima, is rumored to be coming with a 5-inch 1920x1080 display, 20.7-megapixel rear camera, 13-megapixel front camera, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 810 processor and Android 5.0. Will you buy HTC’s next flagship if those rumored specs hold true?
