We’ve heard a lot about the HTC Hima lately, but according to a new report, HTC may have another Android flagship planned for later in 2015.
The HTC Hima Ace Plus is rumored [Google Translate] to be in the works with a 5.5-inch 2560x1440 display with little bezel on its left and right sides. It’s also said to include an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 3000mAh battery. HTC is reportedly planning to include BoomSound front-facing speakers, like it does with most of its smartphones nowadays, as well as an UltraPixel front-facing camera and a 20-megapixel rear cam.
Interestingly, today’s leak suggests that the HTC Hima Ace Plus could include a fingerprint reader. The reader will allegedly work when the phone’s screen is off and the device is in standby.
The HTC Hima Ace Plus is rumored to be scheduled for debut in August or September. Overall this device sounds like a pretty beastly flagship, boasting a larger, higher-res display than the HTC Hima, though folks that like more moderately-sized phones might prefer the 5-inch Hima.
It’s worth noting that this is all very much a rumor for now. Heck, even if HTC is prepping a Hima Ace Plus, there’s a chance that it could end up getting canceled like the HTC M8 Prime that we heard about in mid-2014 but ultimately never actually saw released. HTC has said that it’s got some “huge surprises” in store for 2015, though, so perhaps this big phone is one of ‘em.
Would you buy this HTC Hima Ace Plus if it actually gets released to the public?
