After launching on several major U.S. carriers in 2014, Samsung’s unique Galaxy Note Edge has finally made its way to Verizon Wireless.
Verizon is now selling the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge for a whopping $399.99 with a two-year contract. If you’d prefer not to lay out several Benjamins at once, you can opt for Verizon Edge, which will spread the cost of the Galaxy Note Edge out over 24 monthly payments of $33.33 each with a $0 down payment. Or if you’re feeling particularly spendy, you can grab the Note Edge without a commitment for $799.99.
The Galaxy Note Edge is fairly similar to the Galaxy Note 4, save for one thing: its bent screen. The right side of the device has a bent screen that can display quick app shortcuts, music and video controls, weather forecasts, news info, and more. The rest of the Note Edge’s spec list includes a 5.6-inch 2560x1440 Super AMOLED screen, 16-megapixel rear camera, 3000mAh battery, 32GB of storage, a microSD card slot, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
The Galaxy Note Edge may be a tad pricey compared to most other smartphones, but it’s a unique device with its bent display, and unique products typically carry premium price tags. And even if you don’t plan on picking up Verizon’s Galaxy Note Edge, you can at least be glad to see that the device has finally made its way onto Verizon’s shelves, giving Big Red customers the chance to try the Edge out.
