If you’re into limited edition mobile hardware, Sony’s got a few new devices that you’ll want to add to your collection.
Sony’s German arm recently revealed (Google Translate) three new Xperia Z3 products that feature illustrations that depict three major cities: Vera Tapani Sammalisto created an illustration of Berlin for the Xperia Z3, Shinpei Hasegawa illustrated Tokyo for the Xperia Z3 Compact, and January Feliks Kallwejt made an illustration of Warsaw that’s on the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. The illustrations are part of Sony’s “Stadt Talente” project.
The three Xperia Z3 Stadt Talente devices are now available, with the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact being offered in four colors and the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact available in two colors. It appears as though there are only 33 of each model, though, and the limited devices are only available in Germany.
The illustrations on these limited edition Xperia devices are fun and well done, and it’s nice to see Sony collaborate with multiple artists on these Stadt Talente. Unfortunately, they’re kind of difficult to buy if you don’t live in Germany, but at least we can admire them from afar in these images.
